Seth Hanson
MELCHIOR
Seth (He/Him) is excited to be making his Ray of Light debut in Spring Awakening! Seth is an upcoming Senior at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he performed in Little Women, Handel’s Flavio, L'enfant et les sortilèges, and The Apple Tree. A New Mexico native, Seth has performed across the Albuquerque area in shows such as Newsies, Putnam County Spelling Bee, All Is Calm, Beauty and the Beast, and Footloose. In his downtime, Seth enjoys playing games, exercising, exploring the Bay Area, learning new music, and practicing self-love and mental health awareness. Instagram: @sethrhansontenor

Becky Alex
WENDLA
Becky (she/her) is thrilled to be joining Ray of Light for Spring Awakening In Concert. Becky is a student at NYU where she is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. As much as she loves New York, she is very excited to be back in the Bay! Some of her favorite past shows include Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon) at Hillbarn Theatre, Peter and the Starcatcher (Molly) at San Mateo High School, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy) at San Mateo High School. She would like to thank the creative team for trusting her with Wendla’s story.

MORITZ
Matt (he/him) is an actor and singer-songwriter from the Bay Area. Matt has shared the stage with Michael Tilson Thomas (San Francisco Symphony), and David Hein & Irene Sankoff (Come From Away). His original songs and covers have been streamed millions of times online, and he continues to work as a lead actor and co-author of the original musical, Gravity: A New(tonian) Musical. Kimi (she/her) recently graduated from UC Berkeley with her degree in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies. She has performed on bi-coastal professional stages as Wednesday Addams in Landmark Musical Theatre’s The Addams Family and Adult Lead Vocalist in Virginia Children’s Theatre’s Brand New Day in Roanoke, VA. Other favorite roles include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Whatsername in American Idiot, Mary Robert in Sister Act, and Marie in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Zachary Isen

Zachary (he/him) is ecstatic to be returning to the Victoria stage. Bay Area born and raised, he most recently appeared in the ensemble of Assassins at Hillbarn Theatre. Other favorite roles include, Angel in Kinky Boots (Ray of Light), Phantom in Rocky Horror Show (Ray of Light/OASIS), Albert in Newsies (Hillbarn Theatre), Bobby in Cabaret (San Francisco Playhouse) Bobby in A Chorus Line (Sierra Repertory Theatre), Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, and Riff in West Side Story (Mountain Play). Zachary holds a BFA in drama from New York University Tisch School of the Arts.

Maia (she/her) is excited to be making her debut with Ray of Light Theatre. Recently she has been seen in both Fun Home (Medium Alison) and in Matilda the Musical at Berkeley Playhouse, as well as in Landmark Musical Theatre’s RENT! (Mimi). Ryan Vásquez
ERNST
Ryan (he/him) is touched to be back on the Victoria stage with Ray of Light after appearing as a Lamb in 2017's Silence! The Musical. A Central Coast native, Ryan has called San Francisco home for ten years — a decade spent collaborating with NCTC, Ray of Light, and Brava Theater, completing a BFA in Acting at AAU, and, much like Ernst, falling in love. Past shows include Hair (Claude), Legally Blonde (Emmett), The Rocky Horror Show (Riff-Raff), Claudio in both Measure for Measure and Much Ado About Nothing, and the title role in Aladdin. Hailey (she/her) just graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of California, Irvine in March 2023. Some of her credits include The Beggar Woman in SWEENEY TODD, Agnes in GYPSY (The GEM Theatre), and most recently, Olive in SPELLING BEE. Kyle (he/him) is ecstatic to be making his Ray of Light Theatre debut with this beautiful production! He is still very green to the Bay Area Theater scene but some credits include RENT (LMT 2022), 1940’s Radio Hour (Hillbarn 2021), Elf the Musical (Hillbarn 2022), and most recently Spongebob Squarepants the Musical (Palo Alto Players 2023). Kira (they/them) is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful cast! Spring Awakening is their first show in ten years, and they couldn't be more delighted to return to the stage with Ray of Light Theatre. Dylan (he/him) is a current senior at UC Berkeley with a minor in Theater and Performance Studies. His favorite roles include Christopher in Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, The Lion in Wizard of Oz, and Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde the Musical. This is his first professional production and he is immensely excited and grateful for this new, thrilling experience! Dylan would like to thank his family, girlfriend Kimi, and teachers Christopher Herold and Yen Lin Chin for their wonderful and amazing support!

Jessica Coker Mohr

Jessica (she/her) is thrilled to be back performing with Ray of Light Theatre. Some favorite productions include Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Miss Gardner in Carrie, the Musical, Shawntel in Jerry Springer the Opera and Emma Borden in Lizzie, Jessica has also been seen as Miss Fleming in Heathers at Hillbarn, Songs for a New World at Sitka Performing Arts, Henri in The View Upstairs at New Conservatory Theatre Center, Emma Goldman in Ragtime, Ursula in The Little Mermaid and Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown at Berkeley Playhouse, Gravity, a Newtonian musical at BATCO, Smokey Joe’s Cafe at Broadway by the Bay among many others. Jessica is a founding member of the comedy trio “B.O.O.B.S.” and “The Coker Sisters”. She’s a dog mom, cabaret singer and in her spare time can be found changing her hair color and traveling the world. Love to Rob, Lexie and Luna for letting me miss dinner every night.

Andy Collins

Andy (he/him) returns to the Ray of Light stage after playing George in last year's hit Kinky Boots. Andy started performing with San Diego Junior Theatre and attended The School of Creative and Performing Arts. Andy has worked with Cygnet Theatre, Diversionary, NCTC, Moonlight, SD Rep, Starlight and 42nd St Moon. Some of his credits include Herbie in Gypsy, Max in Cabaret, David in Company and Harold in The Full Monty. He would like to thank ROL for letting him be part of the telling of this story. Also, thank you for seeing live theatre.

Eliza Leoni
DIRECTOR
Eliza (she/her) first joined ROLT in the ensemble of 2009’s Tommy and stuck around, appearing in Baby, Jerry Springer the Opera, Assassins and Silence!; directing Into the Woods (2013), LIZZIE (2015) and co-directing 2018's all-female Jesus Christ Superstar alongside Shane Ray. She’s led ROLT’s Cabaret Spotlight Series since its inception in 2012. Other acting and directing credits include 42nd Street Moon, Impact Theatre (RIP), Lamplighters Music Theatre, the San Francisco Symphony and Grace Cathedral. Endless love and thanks to Ryland, Susan, Chuck, Hopie and anyone who teaches Sex Ed.

Ben Prince
MUSIC DIRECTOR
Ben (he/him) has lost track of how many ROLT shows he has music directed since 2005. Some of his personal favorites have been Heathers, Carrie, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Jerry Springer: The Opera. Ben also arranged and recorded the electronic dance music tracks for ROLT's immersive production of The Rocky Horror Show, returning to OASIS this fall. Other Bay Area theatre companies for which Ben has music-directed include SF Playhouse (Dogfight), Center REP (Altar Boyz), New Conservatory Theatre Centre (Avenue Q, On a Clear Day...), 42nd Street Moon (DuBarry Was a Lady) and Woodminster Summer Musicals (Catch Me If You Can). Jill Jacobs

Jill (she/her) is thrilled to be working with the Ray of Light again, this time as choreographer. She has previously appeared with ROLT in American Psycho, Rocky Horror, and the all-female production of Jesus Christ Superstar. She most recently performed as Louise in Gypsy! (Mountain Play) and as a featured dancer in Follies (SF Playhouse). Jill has performed in Los Angeles and New York and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BFA in musical theatre. She currently teaches public high school in the Bay. Matt Owens
SET DESIGNER/
TECHNICAL DIRECTORMatt (he/him) is a San Francisco-based scenic designer, technical director, and interior designer. He has worked as a theatre-maker both locally and in his homeland New Zealand. Matt has been Technical Director for Ray of Light since 2019. Scenic Design: Elf, Ain't Misbehavin', I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and Heathers (Hillbarn); La Cagé Aux Folles (Altarena Playhouse); Shoshana in December (Custom Made Theatre). You can see more of his work in the upcoming ROLT production of Cruel Intentions and Pop Culture Immersive Pride in Gotham.

Weili Shi
LIGHTING DESIGNER
Weili (she/her) is thrilled to be back behind the light board for ROLT after having designed their award-winning production of Kinky Boots. Previously, she was a TBA and SFBATCC award nominee for her work on their West Coast premiere of American Psycho. Other recent credits include Encore with NCTC, Circle Mirror Transformation and How to Transcend a Happy Marriage with Custom Made Theatre, and Lost Ballad with Shotgun Players. She holds a BA in Performing and Media Arts from Cornell University and spends her days on the product design team at Slack. Weili would like to thank Daniel for his endless support.

Shane Ray
COSTUME DESIGNER
Shane (he/him) founded Ray of Light Theatre in 2001. His involvement in theatre has spanned 30+ years, and has encompassed performing, directing, teaching, designing, and producing at theatres in New York and San Francisco. Directing credits include over fifty shows. Some favorites include Jesus Christ Superstar (all-female cast), Tommy and Into the Woods; all at ROLT. Favorite on-stage credits include Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson), Grease (Doody), Joseph… (Simeon/Pharaoh). He has a degree in education with a concentration in theatre. By day, Shane lives in San Francisco with his partner, Patrick, and is a partner/real estate broker at Domicile Properties in San Francisco. He is most proud of his biggest productions, his sons Hayden and Spencer.

Lori Fowler
STAGE MANAGER
Lori (they/them) is excited to be back with ROLT after stage managing Kinky Boots last fall. They have stage managed a great deal of shows over scads of years and all over the Bay Area (New Conservatory Theatre Center, Oasis SF, Berkeley Playhouse) and have been involved with Ray of Light since 2005. When not in a dim theatre they can be found cross stitching snarky sayings and cuss words, baking, or wrangling drag queens at SF Oasis.

Jennifer Bevard
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Jenn (she/her) received her MFA in Directing from The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago where she directed and choreographed The Conduct of Life, Waiting for Lefty, Ghosts, The Lover, The Pillowman, and Copi’s The Four Twins and developed new work with Chicago’s Lucky Plush dance company and The Pavement Group. As a recipient of an Orchard Project artist’s residency she devised, co-directed and choreographed Counterfeiters with Dog & Pony Theatre Co. Upon returning to the Bay Area she assisted on the Rocky Horror Show and West Edge Opera’s production of Lulu, directed The End of the Rainbow at OMG! Productions and the world premiere of Laura Schwendinger’s opera Artemisia with Left Coast Ensemble. Jenn has also directed The Wild Party, Reefer Madness, and Caroline, or Change at ROLT.

Sharon Boggs (she/her) has provided sound equipment, custom sound design, engineering, and live/studio Audio/Video recording for Ray of Light since 2005. Last fall we were blessed to be a part of the Kinky Boots production. We also work in New York, credits include Mood Swings - Sound Design/Engineer (Triad Theater, NYC), Came Tumbling After - original production - Sound design (Uptown Theater of NY), Bat Boy - Sound Equipment, design, and Engineering (Aaron Davis Hall).
