The Wild Party Cast
Roy Eikleberry (Sam) is excited to be making his return to Ray of Light Theater after last appearing in Yeast Nation as Jan-the-Wretched. Originally from the Appalachian foothills of Ohio, Roy now regularly performs with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (SFGMC) and other companies throughout the Bay Area including 42nd Street Moon, Opera Paralélle, and Mojo Theatre. Just recently, Roy appeared with SFGMC in a concert where they sang backup for Ms. Patti Lupone. He looks forward to this summer’s GALA Festival in Denver, CO where he’ll sing with both SFGMC and The Lollipop Guild.
Alexandra Feifers (Kate) hails from the Land Down Under has performed in Beauty and the Beast, Children of Eden, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Wizard of Oz with Harvest Rain Theatre Company. She played Demeter in Cats, and featured in Starlight Theatre Co-Op’s Forbidden Broadway awarding her a Del’Arte Chart Award and as Yente in Fiddler on the Roof where she received her second Del’Arte Chart Award as well as a Matilda Award Nomination. Alexandra went on to play Gary Coleman in Avenue Q and Woman 2 in Songs For a New World, featured in Little Shop of Horrors and wrote, produced and starred in the cabaret Wintour Is Coming. Alexandra’s final performance in Australia was Melpomene in Xanadu.
Ayelet Firstenberg (Dolores) is thrilled to be taking part in her first Ray of Light production! She recently moved here from NYC where she performed in eight productions over two years, including two off-Broadway shows. Kathryn Hart (Madeleine) is thrilled to be making her Ray of Light debut in The Wild Party! Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Ms. Hart received her Bachelor of Music from The Catholic University of America and has performed all around the country from New York to San Diego and in between. Favorite productions include: Sleeping Beauty Wakes (La Jolla Playhouse), Dogfight (SF Playhouse), Promises, Promises (SF Playhouse), Dogfight (OMG), and Myths & Hymns (Signature Theatre). “Thank you to Megan, Mom & Dad!”
Paul Grant Hovannes (Burrs) spent most of 2015 with the Ray of Light Theatre, appearing as Kurt in Heathers: The Musical, Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show, and putting his teenage angst to music in the Spotlight Cabaret Sings Like Teen Spirit. In the recent SFGMC concert Tales Of Our City: Our Lives Our Heroes, he had the honor of portraying Harvey Milk for the pieces from Andrew Lippa’s I Am Harvey Milk. He sends love and gratitude to everyone at ROLT, his SFGMC brothers, Sara Moore of Circus Center’s Clown Conservatory, and the group of weirdos he’s proud to call family.
James Mayagoitia (Phil D’Armano) is thrilled to be performing in The Wild Party after performing in Ray of Light’s last season productions of the award-winning Heathers (Boy 1) and The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom)! Previous favorite credits include one of the Hedwigs in Hedwig and The Angry Inch (Boxcar Theatre), Paul in A Chorus Line (SFSU), and The Slave in Candide (Lamplighters Music Theatre). James is a founding member of 11th Hour Ensemble (an ensemble-based theatre company); a classically trained singer, director, assistant director, and teaching artist; and holds a BA in Drama (Magna Cum Laude) from San Francisco State University.
Zachariah Mohammed (Oscar D’Armano) couldn’t be more excited to return to Ray of Light Theatre after last season’s Heathers: The Musical! Recent credits include Gypsy (CCMT), The Who’s Tommy (OMG I Love that Show), The Music Man (CCMT), andAnyone Can Whistle (St. Mary’s College). Lizzie O’Hara (Mae) is a Bay Area actress and recent transplant from NYC. She is thrilled to be joining the Ray of Light family! Her recent theatre credits include Dejanira in Mirandolina! Mistress of a Tuscan Inn, Erma in Anything Goes (Center Repertory Theatre), and Rachel/Roscoe in One Man, Two Guvnors (TheatreSquared). Other theatre credits include Penny in The Real Housewives Musical (Center Repertory Theatre), Deirdre in Mama’s Boys (Robert Moss Theatre), Penga Freaky Pets Live! (Abandon Entertainment), Woman 2 in Becoming Britney (The Retro Dome), and Erato/Kira U/S in Xanadu (Guggenheim Entertainment). Many lovings and thanks to her brand new husband.
Jocelyn Pickett (Queenie) is thrilled to return to Ray of Light Theatre as Queenie in this production of The Wild Party. Past roles include Heather Chandler in Heathers: the Musical, TBA Award winning Violet in Violet, Magenta in Rocky Horror, and Christine Colgate in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Jason Rehklau (Max) recently graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Musical Theatre. Jason was last seen as Tulsa in Gypsy with CCMT, Tommy in The Who’s Tommy with OMG I love that show! Productions, a Sailor in Anything Goes at Center REP, and Marius in Les Miserables at Broadway By the Bay. Favorite Credits include Spring Awakening (Melchior), Avenue Q (Princeton), Xanadu (Sonny), A Chorus Line (Bobby, Mark). Special thanks to mom, dad, and grandma for their support.
Daniel Barrington Rubio (Eddie) is excited to be making his Ray of Light debut. His training is from Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts (PCPA). Recent credits include: Addams Family (Ensemble), Ring of Fire (Man 2). Other credits include: Urinetown (Officer Lockstock), West Side Story (Diesel), Les Miserables (Ensemble), Shrek (Ensemble), Fiddler on the Roof (Constable), The Wizard of Oz (Ensemble), Chicago (Ensemble), Once On This Island (Ensemble), Cabaret (Herr Schultz), The Fantasticks (Mortimer), Seussical (Horton). RaMond Thomas (Black)‘s recent favorite roles include: Memphis the Musical as Delray, Thunder Knocking On the Door as Marvel Thunder, Night of the Living Dead as Ben, Hoodoo Love as Ace of Spaids, Working as Rex/Utkarsh, and Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Malakani Severson (Jackie) is ecstatic to make his Bay Area theatre debut with Ray of Light Theatre. Born and raised on Oahu, favorite theatre credits include: Xanadu (Sonny Malone), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Barfee), South Pacific (Billy Whitmore), Legally Blonde (Carlos). TV & Film credits include Indie Films: B.E. (Ben) and It’s Just Business (Logan), as well as a featured role on Hawaii 5-0 (Aaron Cole). He thanks his support system of loved ones–especially Bubba. As with every show, he dedicates this performance to his late grandma whose love and presence lives on.
