Ryan Cowles (Brad Majors) is thrilled to be making his Ray of Light debut with Rocky Horror! Broadway National Tours: Monty Python’s: Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone, & Hairspray. Area stage credits include CenterREP (Anything Goes, Sweet Charity and A Christmas Carol), CCMT, Fantasy Forum, TVRT & The Willows. Select regional credits include: Zanna Don’t (Zanna), La Cage aux Folles (Phaedra), and The Hoop Dee Doo Revue (Johnny Ringo) at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. In his “free time” Ryan also proudly serves as the Producing Artistic Director of “OMG, I Love That Show!” Productions in the East Bay.
Chelsea Holifield (Janet Weiss) is beyond excited to be returning to ROLT, after playing a dinosaur in last summer’s Triassic Parq. Most recently seen as Amber Von Tussel in Hairspray (Berkeley Playhouse), Chelsea has appeared in several shows and concerts, including a weekend-long stint as high-flying nanny Mary Poppins. Tielle Baker (Magenta) has been singing and dancing on stage for the past 29 years. She has worked with numerous theatre companies around the Bay Area, including TheatreWorks, CenterREP, Diablo Theatre Company, Playhouse West, 42nd Street Moon, and Belasco Theatre Co. Tielle has hit high notes at The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and in International Music Festivals in Italy and Germany. She graduated in 2003 from the University of the Pacific with a Bachelor in Music. When not on stage she is a mother of two energetic boys and works with young performers as a Private Vocal Instructor, Music Director, and Dance Teacher. Paul Hovannes (Riff Raff) is elated to perform with Ray of Light again, following Heathers: The Musical this past Spring. Having recently moved from Los Angeles, he made his Bay Area debut late last year performing in a vaudeville-style cabaret with Thrillride Mechanics.

Madeleine Pla (Usherette/Eddie) is ecstatic to be rocking out in her first show with the Ray of Light Theatre! Her favorite past roles include Hair (Sheila), 12 Angry Men (Juror 10), and Seussical (Gertrude). She is currently working toward a B.A. in Music at UC Berkeley. She is so grateful for the friends she could never live without and for the unconditional love and support from her family.
Joshua Beld (Phantom) graduated from SFSU in 2010 with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2006, he has been fortunate to work with many performance companies ranging from opera to burlesque and everything in between. He has been seen in various productions with Lamplighters Music Theatre, Goat Hall Opera, Opera San Jose, Presto! Interactive Opera, and Ray of Light Theatre. He has also been featured in collaborative performances with the Oakland-East Bay Gay Men’s Chorus, Grace Cathedral, and the Twilight Vixen Revue.
James Mayagoitia (Phantom) James Mayagoitia (Phantom) is stoked to be performing in Rocky Horror after recently making his Ray of Light debut in the regional premiere of Heathers: The Musical! Previous favorite credits include one of the Hedwigs in Hedwig and The Angry Inch (Boxcar Theatre), Paul in A Chorus Line (SFSU), Geppetto in I Never Lie (99 Stock Productions), and The Slave in Candide (Lamplighters Music Theatre). James is a founding member of 11th Hour Ensemble (an ensemble-based theatre company); a classically trained singer, director, assistant director, and teaching artist; and holds a BA in Drama (Magna Cum Laude) from San Francisco State University.
Kathryn Sullivan (Phantom) is absolutely thrilled to be in her second Ray of Light production! Kathryn had so much fun in her first Ray of Light production, CARRIE the Musical. Most recently she was seen as Cynthia in In the Hands of the Raven at Arrowhead Productions. Her favorite roles include Lola in Damn Yankees, Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime, Gladys in Pajama Game and Anna in Closer. Kathryn is a founding member of Found Theater Co., a Philadelphia-based company that creates original ensemble-based work by means of research and play. Kathryn is honored to teach yoga all over the Bay Area. She sends much love to Mum, Andy & Nickle.
Christen Sottolano (Phantom) began admiring Ray of Light in 2011 as an audience member when she saw big brother Greg perform in Assassins. A recent transplant from Nashville, she is also ROLT’s patron services manager. A long-time lover of musical theatre since performing as Miss Hannigan at the ripe old age of 12 (it was Annie Jr., y’all), Christen’s other favorites include Seussical the Musical (Mayzie LaBird) at Pull-Tight Players, RolePlay (Paige Petite) at Vanderbilt University Theatre and the many hats worn performing and producing with The Original Cast at Vanderbilt University. She is a graduate of the Ingram Scholarship Program at Vanderbilt and now works at the Stanford Graduate School of Education.

RJ San Jose (Phantom) is thrilled to be making his ROLT debut! A Bay Area native from Union City, CA, RJ started performing in the James Logan HS Color Guard, spinning and twirling flags and rifles. He then went to study at dance at Cabrillo College (AA) and UC Berkeley (BA), where he found his love for the stage. Combining dance, theatre and color guard, RJ was grateful to be a part of the cast of Blast! where he spent three summers touring Japan. Recently seen in Broadway By the Bay’s West Side Story, other favorite productions include: In The Heights (Broadway By the Bay, TBA 2014 Award Winner), A Chorus Line (Broadway By the Bay, Woodminster, PCRT), Tarzan (CCMT), and Hairspray (Broadway By the Bay). Melinda Campero (Phantom) is thrilled to be a part of the cast of Rocky Horror! She was recently seen in the regional premiere of Heathers: The musical, the West Coast premiere of Yeast Nation (both with ROLT), and in independent San Francisco productions of Falsettoland (Trina), A New Brain (Rhoda & Homeless Lady), A Little Night Music (Charlotte & Fredrika) and The 25th Annual Spelling Bee (Logainne). She made her Ray of Light debut in 2012 in The Full Monty (Susan). Other favorite roles in include: Ronny in HAIR, Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, Kit Kat girl in Cabaret and House Wife in Assassins. Amanda Jane Salmon (Phantom): From dancing on table tops with a broken leg at age 4 to graduating from The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in 2013, Amanda has been in numerous productions. Credits include Cecily in Earnest, Mitzi in Crazy For You, and more recently Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical! The Musical. She enjoys dancing in the mirror as a drag queen and a glass of Chardonnay, of course. She is so excited to finally be in the mansion after all these years and thanks her friends and family for their continued support.
Cameron La Brie (Phantom) is very excited to be returning to the theatre world after over a year-long absence and he couldn’t be happier it is via Rocky Horror with Ray of Light. A political science major at UC Berkeley, he most recently played Angel in RENT. Other credits include All Shook Up (Chad), Beauty and the Beast, Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), and Les Miserables (Enjolras).
