Kevin Achas (Phantom) is truly thrilled to make his debut with ROLT! A few favorite past roles include RENT with Raven Players (Angel), The Producers with Tri-Valley Repertory Theater (Carmen Ghia), Sweeney Todd (Beadle) and in High School Musical 2 (Troy) with Playhouse Merced. Kevin has also performed with Symphony Silicon Valley since 2014.
Sara Altier (Phantom) is excited to return to Transylvania with her favorite weirdos for her third year of The Rocky Horror Show. She most recently appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar (ROLT), assistant directed Reefer Madness (ROLT) and assistant produced Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical (OMG! I Love at Show & Oasis). Sara spends her days on the Comms team at Fastly and would like to thank her #1 gal, Eleanor Roosevelt, the pug.
Melinda Campero (Columbia) is excited to return to stage as Frank’s #1 fan girl! She was last seen in Green Day’s American Idiot the musical (Extraordinary Girl) with Left Hand Theatre Co. Other Ray of Light productions include: American Psycho the musical, Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon) and Heathers: the musical. Melinda also performs regularly at SF Oasis; most recently appearing in Debbie Does Dallas the musical (Lisa), Above and Beyond the Valley of the Ultra Showgirls (Cristal Anderson) and Drunk Drag Broadway’s Wicked-ish (Elphaba). Other recent favorite shows include: Blood & Stuff the cabaret at PianoFight and The Skivvies at Feinstein’s at the Nikko. Much love to Cory and VDT!
Caleb Haven Draper (Brad Majors) returns to the role of Brad Majors for the second year in the row! He was recently seen as Rachel Green in Friends Live! at the Oasis. Other credits include ‘Donn Arden’s Jubilee!’ (Bally’s Las Vegas), ‘Anything Goes!’ (Center Rep), ‘La Cage aux Folles’ (CCCT), ‘Little Me’, ‘Sugar’, ‘Lady be Good’ (42nd Street Moon), ‘Singing in the Rain’, ‘Hello Dolly’ (Diablo Theatre Company), ‘Gypsy’, ‘I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change’, ‘Spring Awakening’ (Altarena Playhouse), ‘Ragtime’, ‘Annie’, ‘Hair’ (Alameda Civic Light Opera), ‘Joseph…Dreamcoat’ (Tri Vally Rep). He’s also done numerous solo cabaret acts in San Francisco and directed/choreographed in the Bay Area.
D’Arcy Drollinger (Frank-N-Furter) is an actor, writer, director, producer and choreographer. He is an owner of the San Francisco nightclub Oasis. His first feature film, Shit and Champagne, will be debuting in 2020. Works include: Bitch Slap! Disastrous, Champagne White and The Temple of Poon, Mr. Irresistible, Project: Lohan, Scalpel!, The Possession of Mrs. Jones, Pink Elephants and Above and Beyond the Valley of the Ultra Showgirls. Other credits include: The Producers (first Broadway production), Hairspray the Musical (first Broadway production), and VH1’s Divas 2000 featuring RuPaul. He continues to adapt, direct and co-star in the long-running hit drag parodies Sex and the City LIVE! and Golden Girls LIVE! Drollinger is also the creator of the dance-fitness brand, Sexitude.
Emily Dwyer (Usherette) is absolutely elated to be time-warping in their ROLT debut! Emily is a performer, costume designer and preschool teacher from San Francisco. Recent notable credits include Clarisse in Quantum Dragon Theatre’s “Fahrenheit 451,” Zelda in Ross Valley Players/Ross Alternative Works’ “Scott and Zelda,” and Martha in Marin Musical Theater Company’s “Spring Awakening.” Emily has also appeared in Mountain Play and New Conservatory Theatre Center productions. Endless love and gratitude to their fam bam for their unconditional support and for forever showering them with love ~ I love you to the moon and back, twice!
Joseph Feldmann (Rocky) is ecstatic to his West Coast debut with Ray of Light as Rocky in The Rocky Horror Picture show! As a midwestern transplant from Detroit, Michigan, Joseph holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Oakland University. Previous roles include: Fred / Caroler in A Christmas Carol, Eddie in 70, Girls, 70, Thalia in Xanadu, Henrik in A Little Night Music, Che in Evita, Joe Kennedy/ Jerry in Grey Gardens, among other regional credits. A huge thank you goes out to the constant love & support from his amazing family and friends!
John Flaw (Dr. Scott/Eddie) considers himself incredibly lucky to be able to step into Eddie’s boots for the third year in a row. He gets his kicks putting glitter and garbage in his beard for Palace of Trash at The Stud and can occasionally be found behind a guitar playing songs with his band Vagabondage.
J. Conrad Frank (Narrator) is delighted to be back at ROLT, and thrilled to be taking you on this strange journey. A San Mateo native, Conrad is best known for his cabaret work as The Countess Katya Smirnoff-Skyy. Favorite Theater credits include: Mary Dale (Red Scare on Sunset), Alex More (Buyer and Cellar), Angela Arden (Die Mommy Die) , The Beadle Bamford (Sweeny Todd, ROLT) and Mrs. Peacock (CLUE, Boxcar Theatre). Melissa Martinez (Phantom) Melissa is so freaking excited to be back at the lab with these crazy gremlins for the third time. A graduate from University of the Arts in Philadelphia (GO EAGLES) she has been a performer, director, choreographer, and teaching artist in the Bay Area for the last 10 years. Favorite roles include Hermia from Midsummer, Jon Tracy’s original adaptation of A Midsummer Nights Dream with Solano Repertory Company, Diana Morales from A Chorus Line with Solano College Theater, and 1/5 of the yellow brick road in The Wiz at Berkeley Playhouse.
James Mayagoitia (Phantom) is so happy to be back at the mansion in The Rocky Horror Show (4th time with ROLT) and has also performed in Ray of Light’s productions of award-winning Heathers (Boy 1) and The Wild Party (Oscar D’Armano)! Previous favorite credits include one of the Hedwigs in Hedwig and The Angry Inch (Boxcar Theatre), Paul in A Chorus Line (SFSU), and The Slave in Candide (Lamplighters Music Theatre). James is a founding member of 11th Hour Ensemble (an ensemble-based theatre company); a classically trained singer, director, and teaching artist; and holds a BA in Drama (Magna Cum Laude) from San Francisco State University.
Courtney Merrell (Janet Weiss) is stripping down to her underwear as Janet in the Rocky Horror Show for the fourth year in a row! Earlier this year she performed with Killing My Lobster as part of the ensemble of How Does that Make You Feel? Last year she played Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar with Ray of Light Theatre, receiving the TBA Award for Outstanding Performance in a Featured Role. Other performances include Kathleen and other supporting roles in Ragtime at Berkeley Playhouse, Tammy in Debbie Does Dallas with Oasis SF and Cathy in The Last Five Years at PianoFight. A regular performer in the Bay Area, some of her favorite projects include originating the role of Bryce in The Cable Car Nymphomaniac with FOGG, and playing Sue in Carrie: The Musical and Cinderella in Into the Woods, both with Ray of Light. Other credits include Jan-the-Sweet in Yeast Nation (Ray of Light), Renate in The Diplomats (Dark Porch Theatre), Ophelia in Hamlet and Cherie in Bus Stop (OST Festival). Spenser Morris (Phantom) this is his second production with Ray of Light Theatre after American Psycho. Having recently directed The Crucible, Mamma Mia!, Arsenic and Old Lace, Mary Poppins, The Laramie Project, and many others, he currently serves as the Director of Dramatic Arts for a high school in San Francisco. With a BA in Theatre from The Ohio State University, he is now completing his Masters in Production and Design from Southern Oregon University. He is truly grateful for the support from his friends and family.
Randy O’Hara (Riff Raff) is thrilled to be making his Ray of Light debut! Some favorite past credits include Quasimodo (Hunchback…), Cosmo (Singin’…), Riff Raff (Rocky Horror Live), Claude (Hair) and Bobby (Company). Caroline Shen (Phantom) is stoked to be part of this Halloween tradition at Ray of Light Theater! This is her first production with ROLT and she’s excited to get back into performing after a dry spell since her a cappella days in college. Caroline spends her days as a product designer at Eventbrite and the rest of her time as a singer, dancer, artist, and climber. Thanks to ROLT and to her friends for encouraging her to get back onstage.
