Melinda Campero (Columbia) is thrilled to return to the cast of Rocky Horror! She was recently seen as Lisa in Debbie Does Dallas the musical with OMG! I Love That Show Productions and Oasis, Cristal Anderson in Above and Beyond the Valley of the Ultra Showgirls (Oasis), and Elphaba in Wicked-ish and Urchin in Little Shop of Whores (Drunk Drag Broadway). ROLT productions include Heathers: The Musical (New Wave Girl), Yeast Nation (ensemble) and The Full Monty (Susan). Other favorite roles: Falsettoland (Trina), A New Brain (Rhoda & Homeless Lady), A Little Night Music (Charlotte & Fredrika) and The 25th Annual Spelling Bee (Logainne), Ronny (HAIR), Kit Kat girl (Cabaret) and House Wife (Assassins).
Caleb Haven Draper (Brad) is excited to make his Ray of Light debut! Past credits include Donn Arden’s Jubilee! (Bally’s Las Vegas), Anything Goes (Center Repertory Company), Little Me, Sugar!, Lady, be Good (42nd Street Moon), Singin’ in the Rain, Hello, Dolly! (Diablo Theatre Company), Ragtime, Annie, Hair (Alameda Civic Light Opera). He has a BA in Musical Theatre from University of the Pacific.
Carlos Guerrero (Phantom) is thrilled to be making his ROLT return in The Rocky Horror Show! Most recently seen in Pacifica Spindrift Players production of Cabaret (Victor/Gorilla/Dance Captain). Show credits include Cabaret, Cinderella, Rocky Horror Show, Broadway Bares: SF (2016-2017), On Broadway, Broadway Song & Dance, Funky Town, Jesus Christ Superstar, Anything Goes, You’re a Good man, Charlie Brown, Wicked Games (TILT Shift Dance Company), Missionary Man (Alfonzo King Lines Ballet), Ugly Pretty (ARHS; Choreographer). He is grateful to his friends and family for their love and support and would like to thank all those involved in his career for making these the most rewarding experiences of his life. John Flaw (Eddie) is overjoyed to return to Ray Of Light Theatre after a few years in various stages of undress with the Thrillpeddlers, having recently performed various roles in their production of Scrumbly Koldewyn’s Amazon Apocalypse. When he’s not putting glitter in his beard or performing on stage (or wherever), he can be found at his boring old day job. This will be John’s first ROLT role since playing The Wolf in Into The Woods.
Melissa Martinez (Phantom, Dance Captain) Melissa is so freaking excited to be making her ROLT debut with these crazy kids. A graduate from University of the Arts in Philadelphia (GO EAGLES) she has been a performer and teaching artist in the Bay Area for the last 8 years. Favorite roles include Hermia from Midsummer, Jon Tracy’s original adaptation of A Midsummer Nights Dream with Solano Reparatory Company, Diana Morales from A Chorus Line with Solano College Theater, and 1/5 of the yellow brick road in The Wiz at Berkeley Playhouse.
Erin Gentry (Phantom) is a choreographer, teacher, and performer living in the Bay Area. Previous shows include ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘The Producers’, and ‘Chicago’. This is her first show with Ray of Light, and it’s been a blast! Thank you to the entire creative team, to my husband, and to my family and friends for their support.
Joshua Beld (Phantom) graduated from SFSU in 2010 with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2006, he has been fortunate to work with many performance companies ranging from opera to burlesque and everything in between. He has been seen in various productions with Lamplighters Music Theatre, Goat Hall Opera, Opera San Jose, Presto! Interactive Opera, and Ray of Light Theatre. He has also been featured in collaborative performances with the Oakland-East Bay Gay Men’s Chorus, Grace Cathedral, and the Twilight Vixen Revue.
Clay David’s (Narrator) achievements in the theater have been recognized with five 2016 San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critic’s Awards for Best Actor, Best Director, Best Set Designer, Best Costume Designer and Best Production, Theatre Bay Area TITAN Award for Excellence in Theatre, Dean Goodman Choice Award-Best Director, Lee Hartgrave FAME Best Play Award, and The Victor Borge Legacy Award. Clay has recently performed Anthony in End of the Rainbow (OMG I love that show! Productions), Don Jon in Much Ado About Nothing (Marin Shakespeare Company), and Jefferies in Speakeasy. He has also served as scenic artist for Assassins and Seussical with BAM, Priscilla Queen of the Desert with Theatre Rhino, Roar of the Grease Paint with Landmark Theatre, and theatre designer for Tenderly and Be My Baby with Altarena Playhouse.
Courtney Merrell (Janet) was recently seen as Tammy in Debbie Does Dallas with OMG! I love that show! Productions. Before that she performed Cathy in The Last Five Years at PianoFight and Janet in Rocky Horror Show with Ray of Light Theatre. A regular performer in the Bay Area, some of her favorite projects include originating the role of Bryce in The Cable Car Nymphomaniac with FOGG and playing Sue in CARRIE The Musical and Cinderella in Into the Woods, both with Ray of Light. Other credits include Jan-the-Sweet in Yeast Nation (Ray of Light), Renate in The Diplomats (Dark Porch Theatre), Ophelia in Hamlet and Cherie in Bus Stop (OST Festival). “All my love and thanks to my midbestie, my ROLT fam, and my folks in the Lou.”
D’Arcy Drollinger (Frank-N-Furter) is thrilled to be back as one of his all-time favorite characters, Frank-N-Furter. Drollinger has written, directed and starred in the original stage productions: Bitch Slap, Champagne White is Disastrous, Champagne White and The Temple of Poon, Shit & Champagne, Mr. Irresistible, Project: Lohan, Scalpel!, The Possession of Mrs. Jones, Pink Elephants and Above and Beyond the Valley of the Ultra Showgirls. Other credits include: The Producers (first Broadway production), Hairspray the Musical (first Broadway production). He is currently in production to bring the Champagne trilogy to the big screen. D’Arcy is the co-owner of Oasis, the premier drag club in the US, voted San Francisco’s best nightclub / cabaret (www.sfoasis.com), and continues to produce, adapt and direct the live drag parodies: Sex and the City Live, The Golden Girls – The Christmas Episodes, Star Trek Live and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Live. D’Arcy is also the creator of Sexitude™, the body-positive, age-positive, sex-positive dance experience based in San Francisco.
Randy O’Hara (Riff Raff) is thrilled to be making his Ray of Light debut! Some favorite past credits include Quasimodo (Hunchback…), Cosmo (Singin’…), Riff Raff (Rocky Horror Live), Claude (Hair) and Bobby (Company). Many thanks go to his friends and family, especially to Mike and Kev for their endless support. Sara Altier (Ensemble) most recently appeared in ROLT’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar. She assistant directed Reefer Madness (ROLT) and assistant produced Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical (OMG! I Love at Show & Oasis). She spends her days on the Comms team at Flexport and would like to thank her #1 gal, Eleanor Roosevelt, the pug.
Jocelyn Pickett (Magenta) Past roles include Heather Chandler in Heathers: the Musical, TBA Award winning Violet in Violet, Magenta in Rocky Horror, and Christine Colgate in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. David Tuttle (Rocky) is new to the bay area, having recently relocated from Maui, HI, David is thrilled to be appearing in his first production with Ray of Light Theatre, especially in such an exciting show. Having played the character of Rocky in the past, both in the staged musical as well as in regular appearances with the shadow-cast company Transylvanian Concubines in Fairfax, VA, it is a role very near and dear to his heart that he looks forward to sharing with all of you. Some of his most notable recent credits include Quasimodo in MAPA’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Cpl Harold Dawson in A Few Good Men with at the Historic Iao Theatre, and Bertram Cates in Maui Onstage’s Inherit the wind, which earned him the title of Best Male Performance in a Musical (Maui Ovation Awards 2017), a nomination for Best Male Performance in a Drama (Ovation 2017), and best supporting actor in a drama (Maui News’ Masterful Moments 2016), respectively.
Zachariah Mohammed (Phantom) is excited to be joining the Rocky Horror family! Zachariah’s previous recent credits include Freaky Friday (Ensemble, Center Rep), 42nd Street (Ensemble, Pacific Coast Repertory), Reefer Madness (Ensemble, Ray of Light), She Loves Me (Swing, SF Playhouse), The Wild Party (Oscar, Ray of Light), and In the Heights (Ensemble, Tri Valley Rep).
