Coleton Schmitto (Hedwig) makes his Ray of Light Theatre debut as Hedwig. His recent theater credits include Next to Normal (Jewel Theatre Company), We Are Proud To Present… (San Jose Stage), The Unfortunates (American Conservatory Theater), Memphis (Cabrillo Music Theatre), and Guys and Dolls (Ralph Freud Playhouse). He graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Communications Studies and currently works full-time as a clinical research coordinator with the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
Maya Michal Sherer (Yitzhak) is new to the Bay Area having graduated from the Pacific Conservatory Theater in 2017. Some previous roles include Veronica Sawyer in Heathers: The Musical (Marin Summer Theater), Grand Duchess Olga Katrina in You Can’t Take It With You (Pacific Conservatory Theater), Natalie Goodman in Next to Normal (Santa Monica Mainstage) and Princess Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress (Norman J Pattiz Playhouse). David Walker (Drums) is thrilled to be working on his first production with Ray of Light Theatre. Last fall he made his musical debut playing drums in the Tuck ‘n’ Roll Player’s rock musical Cyberotica at Oasis. He has also worked on the tech team with Third Cloud From the Left on their production of Dernier Cri. Besides rocking out with MuFTA (Music for the Apocalypse), David can be seen with his math-rock band, Jon Telegraph. When not drumming, David is running his screen print supply business, Anthem Screen Printing. Much love to Carol, Cassie and Emoción.
Diogo Zavadzki (Guitar) is very excited to make his Ray of Light debut. Diogo has been performing in the Bay Area since 2014. During this time he performed with the gory and glittery troupe of the Thrillpeddlers in productions like the Cockettes musical Pearls over Shanghai, Shocktoberfest, Club Inferno, The Untamed Stage and Amazon Apocalypse.
Recent works includes: Tuck n’ Roll Players Cyberotica!, Theater Rhinoceros’ Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Rumi Missabu’s Trangerella, the Palace of Trash and the First Church of The Sacred Silversexual. Diogo is the lead singer and guitarist for MuFTA.
Lysol Tony – Romeo (Bass) is the lead conceptual force behind the First Church of the Sacred Silversexual, which won a SF Best of the Bay’s Editors Pick in 2013 and puts on a yearly Bowie Birthday Bash at The Chapel each January. In 2016 he mounted a conceptual political campaign as DJ Action President, in the form of a YouTube channel featuring satirical political ads and commentary on big donations in politics. He is a founding member of the Palace of Trash, a performance art drag troupe carrying on the legacy of The Cockettes and Thrillpeddlers, in addition to playing bass and singing with MuFTA
Steven Bolinger (Keys/Guitar) is a San Francisco-based multi-instrumentalist and composer. Steeped in rock and roll culture, he has a penchant for The Metal™, progressive rock and electronica/dance music, and on occasion, a decent melody. Steven is a member of bands THïTH and The Ethel Merman Experience. He has contributed his talents to the musical productions of Thrillpeddlers (Club Inferno), D’Arcy Drollinger (Above and Beyond the Valley of the Ultra-Showgirls), and Peaches Christ Productions (Showgirls: The Musical). He composed the music for Third Cloud from the Left productions The Mariner and Putas Asesinas, and co-wrote the songs for the original musical Dernier Cri.
